实验室的描述
The Exercise and Performance Nutrition Laboratory originated in the Exercise Science and Human Performance program in the College of Science, 技术, 和健康 at 澳门威尼斯人平台官网. The EPNL was formally developed in December 2014 by its current Director, Dr. 乍得Kerksick, and currently supports the research efforts of all faculty members within the College of Science, 技术, 和健康. 从那时起, significant support through university administration and externally supported research projects have fostered continual growth to the laboratory. Initially housed within the 澳门威尼斯人平台官网 Sports Science Center, a 12,000 square foot facility approximately six miles from campus, the EPNL was moved onto the main campus inside the Fieldhouse building in the Fall of 2017 where an extensive renovation was completed that included the construction of the first exercise biochemistry laboratory at 澳门威尼斯人平台官网. The EPNL offers a comprehensive (and growing) array of cutting-edge equipment that is used for physiological and biochemical assessments as part of research, education and training activities completed within the College of Science, 技术, 和健康. Through these activities, the EPNL serves multiple populations including the students, faculty and staff at Lindenwood, its athletes and coaches as well as community members in the St. 查尔斯和大圣. 路易地区.
